This book os the sequel to the book, Escaping the Past (A Draco Malfoy Love Story). If you haven't read the first book, I would first, but if not it may be hard to follow, but not impossible.

This book is when Alexis Snape-Potter has to live with Draco and the other Deatheaters for the summer. The date for the wedding is set for this summer and they are to have it at Malfoy Manor. While the love is in the air for the two, there is still a sword hanging over them.She lives under the roof of evil, but hopes that she will help her brother's side in the end by being where she was at. Alexis and Draco are Pair Snares (if you can't remember they can feel and think what the other can and they can talk through their minds) and so the dark lord will use that to his advantage. He will try to obtain the power this one girl has which is to control the elements. He will threaten to take away what is most important to her if she doesn't follow.
