In 2040, life is hard. Air is so polluted it's not breathable, the Arctic has completely melted, leaving a quarter of the world flooded. The growing population is barely able to fit on the little land left. Although, there is still hope for the human race. Alexander Hamilton, a genius astrologist and scientist, has found a planet much like earth using a special telescope he invented himself. Alpha Centauri.
So, the world has assembled a team: Alexander Hamilton, genius who has studied this planet for years. John Laurens, expert in mechanics, build the advanced rocket ship himself. Philip Hamilton, Alexanders son and is here because he can lighten the mood in a second, though he may be 9 yrs. old, he is also a genius. Captain George Washington, captain of the ship, expert in combat and pilot to the rocket ship. Marquis de Lafayette, self-taught doctor who has invented his own kinds of poison just to find a treatment for it. Hercules Mulligan, professional veterinarian and animal expert, he is said to be able to look at any animal and be able to tell if it's dangerous, how to deal with it, and what they should name it. Elizabeth Schuyler, though she is supposed to be a highly trained therapist, Phillip is better at her job. But she is an adult, so she understands emotions better. Angelica and Peggy Schuyler, came along with Eliza. Both don't really have a purpose, except extra muscle.
With this team of 9, will they be able to reach Alpha Centauri? Will the be able to send back reports to earth, and manage to find a new home? Will they be able to bring the rest of the population with them?
Pfft, Idk, read and figure it out.
(This may be based on the show called 'Lost in Space', it's on Netflix, 100% recommended)
A meteorite slams into the earth causing a global catastrophe, the particles on the
atmosphere block out the sun for years, slowly cooling the planet leading to a
world-wide ice age.
Humans find refuge in dome cities, pre-build when the meteorite was detected,
which are meant to last under the snow for thousands of years. In the process,
technology brings forth the age of immortality and unprecedented automation.
The result is a decaying society blind to any cause and drugged to survive the endless parade of years.
An idea sparks in the mind of Alex. An idea already rooted in the minds of humans
since their early appearance on Earth. Migrate. Within a few years, a team
had been formed and a budget had been granted for project Gaia to initiate.
The spacecraft "Hera" is built in space, ready to take a few settlers to Solis. A
solar system which seems to be ideal for harboring life. Many planets within the
goldilocks zone and an abundance of oxygen.
Is Alex the hero who will rebuild humanity in a new world or someone who abandoned
Earth when it most needed its healthiest minds?
