It's Alina Invicta's fifth year at Hogwarts, and she's changed completely. Once being the most treasured and adored students, she now spent her time indulging in books and dark matters, barely seen by the public.

Tom Riddle despised Invicta. She always managed to be better than him, was always a step ahead. He was sick of it, quite frankly, and wanted a change in her conceitedness. He wanted to be the favourite, he wanted to be the most powerful, as he rightfully should.

However, as the unlikely pair are forced to work together for a Defense Against the Dark Arts project, they realise that there is much more to both of them than what meets the eye.
