Family Matters (S.R.)

It is often said that family is everything, that they have your back.

Who thought that was smart?

Who thought that made sense?

Because for as long as she can remember family is the one thing that has consistently destroyed her self-esteem and humiliated her (not counting herself, of course) in a very public manner. She thought that being an FBI agent, one of the two youngest to ever join, would be enough.

Was it?

Of course not, especially when her cousin, Anna, decided the day she announced her promotion to one of the most elite teams, was the best day to announce her engagement. Anna was the worst kind of person, she made sure it was all about her. She was so tired of trying to compete.

When she told Spencer Reid, the cute resident genius from the Behavioral Analysis Unit (yes, her coworker... Not necessarily her closest friend) her situation, he didn't seem to understand, as a matter of fact, he found it ridiculous.

So, how did they end up working together to try and shut up bitchy Anna, as she often referred to her?

How did they end up being a fake couple for the wedding of the year?

And how did that not scream immediate disaster for both of them?

Well, it's all in the family.
