Nine year old Adelyn Rae looks like your average rich daughter. Her father is a big shot lawyer for celebrities, and her step mother has a huge fashion line. To everyone on the outside, her life is perfect, but behind closed doors, Adelyn's life is full of abuse. Her father and stepmother have abused her, mentally and physically since she was three.
Adelyn finally catches a break when she is sent to live with her half sister, who she didn't know about. Her sister is living in DC with her great-uncle for her job. Adelyn finally thinks that maybe her life is turning around, but she starts to notice a strange behavior change in her sister. Adelyn starts digging deeper into her sister's secrets, but at a cost.
