Lily nodded as he continued giving her the gun lesson. She was shocked this is why he brought her in here. Maybe he was getting her ready for training. But her, no one else. "Alright, you take the magazine out. It has a magazine release button you must press first." He slid a black piece out of the gun, it was where the bullets were stashed. "Then, you load it up. I won't do that right now. But after that, you shove it back in. Then you cock the gun back, find a target and pull the trigger." "Oh, so it's that easy." She smirked. "Yeah, but how good is your aim?" He returned the smirk. His hands still clasped over hers holding the gun. "Well, do you think you can handle a gun now?" "I think so." She liked the warmth of his palms and the calluses on them. I Fell in Love with a Bad Boy
CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. 'Fuck,' he wished Marley and Connor weren't with him. If they weren't then he'd be over to Brandy's in a heartbeat. "Heath," she wheezed again. "Heath I've been shot." Something inside him froze, he could feel his grip tightening on the steering wheel and his neck prickling with a familiar sense of danger. His Brandy was hurt. "I need- I need help. Please." Ignoring the fact that he had two teens in the back of his squad car and was probably committing about twenty violations; Heath pressed down on the gas hard. "I'm on my way. I walk out my dorm building to the cafe. Just as I'm about to open the door I hear a person call out my name. I turn around to see the person jogging towards me. Black Combat Boots
All I wanted to do was get a pair of combat boots. Black ones. I walk into the shoe store then walk to the aisle with combat boots. I've been here so many times to stare at them that I have the aisle memorized. I'm Dylan, Dylan Daniels. My family isn't poor. If you could call it a family. It's Mom and I in a townhouse. It's just my mom is a workaholic and I'm lucky if I see her for a minute. Some eighteen year olds would get high or drunk every night. She's not my mom, she took me in when my parents got in a car accident. She tells me to call her mom. In my case I work at Roquefield Towers as a receptionist from 1:30-5:00. If I ever want to buy anything I have to pay for it. Including food, any food. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks. I walk to the Checkout Line, four people in front of me. I wait.
