Rena Stewart is a hotheaded girl with a troubling past. Her mother, older brother and herself move to the small, mysterious town of Oakenville. She soon starts to attend the local high school in town. She meets friends and foes. She becomes friends with a nerdy boy, Gavin. She soon finds out a deep, hidden secret about him, which leads her to meet his older brother, who makes her feel things she has never felt before. She not only finds things out about the town but also her own self.
