Tempest and Torryn are twins and the only family that they have left are their two best friends, Adria and Adryan. They live in a brutal world where twins are believed to be children of the devil. Every year, there is a Sifting of their Kingdom. All children of age 15 that year are sorted into one of the 10 clans that will determine who they are for the rest of their lives. However, if twins aren't sorted into the same clan it is considered a crime and is punishable by a fight to the death amongst the siblings. Torryn and Tempest have gotten out of a bunch of tight situations before, but how will they get out of this nearly impossible one? As the people of the Kingdom of Theodeykia say "to aíma eínai dýnami" or "blood is power."

The Mafia's Missing Triplets
The family's mother seemingly ran away 8 months before the triplets were born. Though their family missed her after searching for a year they gave up and realized that she did not want to be found never knowing about the triplets. She had the triplets and gave them away to a kind man and his wife at 6 their father died and their adoptive mother started to bring her boyfriends around. These boyfriends helped their mother become a drug addict and they started the abuse to the young kids. The kids moved around a lot growing up living wherever their mother's boyfriend was living and later with their step-father where the abuse got worse when they were 10 years old. Throughout their lives, the three were abused and tortured in every way. When the triplets are 15 their mother and step-father are killed leaving the triplets alone and after a DNA test by social services, they get sent to their father and brothers meeting them for the first time.
