Sometimes life is a nightmare that you just wish you could wake up from, and you're not quite sure why. Most days that's how Dom felt; however, the difference between Dom and the rest of the world was that while they all were asleep simply having a nightmare, Dom was in a coma plagued with sleep-paralysis. I guess that's what a 5 year-long headache does to you.
