Spottypaw ignores his dark past and trains hard to be the best medicine cat that he can be. He wants nothing more than to be the average apprentice that RiverClan wants him to be, but he soon finds that being average may not be a choice for him. Darkness lurks in the Clans, and he begins to realize that not everything is as it seems. 

Specklepaw tries her best to forget the past as she trains away under the mentorship of the most fiercest warrior in RiverClan. She wants nothing more than to make her family and friends proud, but her hard work begins to crumble, and her past is done hiding. She soon finds herself in scary situations, and she doesn't know if she can escape unscathed. 

Can Specklepaw and Spottypaw overcome these obstacles? Or will they become the monsters that the Clans most fear?
