People always say that if you stare into the void, the void will stare back. But what if that was the truth? What if the Void knew that you were staring? What happens to the people who do see it staring back at them? The answer is simpler than you might think. They go Mad. But Madness is a general state of normal in the New World. And insanity comes with new abilities, like some have never seen before.
But what if you look into the Void, and you never see anything? What happens to the unfortunate few that stare for years, and never feel a response? This is what happens to Franklin.
