Our world is coming to an end. We where destroying it. Selfishness  rotted the soles of almost every human being. We lived in fear and darkness. If nothing was done we would all die...
But that was the past. Now we are fixing our world. The government has developed a way of testing us to see if we have evil in us. So every year, once you turn 16, you will be tested. Have you ever wondered why things are the way they are? Is society really getting anywhere? Are we bettering ourselves and the places we call home? This is a story about us, a story that isn't being told, a story that needs no attention except for the attention you want to give it. I'm no expert in anything. I have been learning about different things throughout my life and have yet to master anything. I'm your typical person; I have a wife and two kids, a dog, a cat, and live in a house in a small community in BC. I was raised on the Prairies and understand the value of hard work. I have studied business, economics, commodity trading, carpentry, and other functions within our society, all which have led me to write this story, the story of a burning son. So what is The Burning Son all about? It's a quest to change the way we perceive our global society, and an effort to change the way we look at our history and our future. Our society has operated efficiently and progressively for centuries. It's about the stories that exist, it's about the technologies that exist, it's about our world, our planet, our force, and our time.

A virus is was what caused our world to break, what caused the good to become the bad. Kids were being hunted down and captured for this gift that was given to them by that virus. It's been seven years. Parents tried to hide them, but they got killed and took the gifted. No child was safe, from five year olds to basically eighteen. It's the apocalypse for us. You can't trust adults. We don't know why they want from us, but I'm willing to do anything to protect my her. Some gifts are stronger than others, some are weaker than others, some are out of their own control. We don't know why the military wants us but, their not getting us. I'll avenge my mom and dad, they'll rest in peace. I'll protect anyone that needs protecting, I'll avenge every live that was lost.

Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. (This is my first story, and the art seen does not belong to me.) (Book 1 of War series)

The earth is almost completely desolate, as people trick and murder each other to get what they want. The only thing left that gives a semblance of dreams is: a power that gives control over earth to anyone who touches the item. People form teams to attempt finding the thing, to destroy all life they see as unnecessary, they further trick and murder each other to get what they want, including the thing... The search for destruction destroys everyone who reaches to the power.
