Seto Kaiba and Yugi Muto were set to duel in an inaugural match for an annual Duel Monster torment. However, Yugi doesn't show up. Not even his grandfather knows where he is.
A six month search party turns up nothing, even with Seto going as far as to hire private investigators to drag his rival back for one final determining confrontation. When not a single, spiny hair of Yugi is found, he decides to make Yugi instead.
