Ah, December 24th. Christmas Eve. The elves were hard at work, finishing up toys, counting presents. The reindeer raced. Mrs Claus baked cookies, and Santa rechecked the Naughty and Nice list. It was a normal day... a normal Christmas Eve... Or so they thought.

The Twelve Days of Christmas
When Noel spots a young man in the park watching her making snow angels, she feels shy, but something tells her to speak to him. She found herself drawn to him in a way she hadn't been in the past. Alex and Noel spend the whole day having winter fun. She has to constantly explain the games they play in the park to him. It was as though he has never played in the snow before. - When night falls, he explains that he has to go, but he's had the most amazing day of his whole life. They kiss before he leaves, Noel's first kiss. It was everything she had ever imagined, and she floats off never expecting to see the young man again. - The next day, a single rose turns up at her flat with a note. She eagerly opens it, suspecting it was from him, but with no knowledge of how he found her. The short message expresses that he would like to see her again. He doesn't know how or when, but that he will make it happen. - Later that day, three black 4x4s show up outside her place. At first, she assumes it must be for someone else until several suited men knock on her door. She's whisked away to the royal palace under the illusion of a baking competition to celebrate Christmas. - When she arrives she is told to expect a visiting dignitary is in attendance along with the King and his sons. Once upon a time, I was your typical good girl, doing my job like a total elf star, no complaints. Even with the little "gift" I was born with (aka my disability), I handled life pretty well. But let me tell you, luck's never been my plus-one. What am I talking about? Oh, just my lovely name-and the Christmas curse that comes with it! Every year, without fail, while my family's out decking the halls, I'm over here getting snowed under with the worst disasters. So, yeah, all I want for Christmas is for this nightmare of a season to be over. But this year? Oh, I've really hit the Christmas tree topper. Ever since I plopped myself down on Santa's lap at my office party and made a special wish, it's been one yule disaster after another! And now, I'm stuck in this sleigh ride from hell with that red-suited nightmare, forced to follow him wherever he jingles. Sure, he might be a total angel under that fake beard-mysterious and all-but I'm not about to let myself get wrapped up like some Christmas present under the tree. My brain's still in one piece, thanks.
