Ari Nichols's life in Alaris is far different from how she grew up. Accountant by day & homebody by night, Ari is happy with her quiet life. She only ventures out for dinners with friends, work events, or the rare blind date which she goes on at her parents' insistence. She'd rather skip dating altogether & never gives a second thought to the men she ices out, but when Sebastian Meyer speaks to her the first time, she wants it to happen again.

Meyer is a man at the top of his game, headed towards the pinnacle of the business world. He's arguably Alaris's most eligible bachelor.
