Viviane Hills could finally appreciate a summer free from volleyball practice. In reward, her parents inform her of her trip to a their summer lake house! There, she finds a closed-off boy, who's attitude she could barely stand. Apparently, he's someone from her past, the one she doesn't remember. Her trip to her lake house is suddenly filled with more events than she could imagine happening all in one summer. That boy also becomes stranger as the days go on and Viviane can't seem to resist him...
"'Leon, come here. You guys haven't seen each other in a while.' Mr. Hills laughed and grabbed the guy Leon's arm. 'This is Leon Miller. Does that ring any bells?'
'No, none at all.' Viviane raised her brow.
'You guys used to play with each other when you were 10 years old, back when we would come here every summer.' Mr. Hills said.
'I wouldn't remember something that far back.' Viviane said in disbelief.
'I don't remember you either.' Leon raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms.
'Well, I'm sure you guys were pretty young. No worries! We'll be here all summer, Leon, so more time to rekindle your friendship.' Mr. Hills said, laughing and walking to the deck of the boat.
Viviane eyed Leon up-and-down. 'As if.'
'You're right.' Leon said, looking down at her. He scoffed and pushed past her towards the steering wheel. Viviane groaned, dreading the fact that she would have to deal with this guy over this summer. "
"OH MY GOD." I quickly remove my hands from Ethan's face, but he keeps his arms around me. It was Lorena. "I leave you...outside for two hours.....and you're already fucking someone. I love this for you. I love.....college for you." She slurs her words and drunkenly stumbles towards us.
Callie and her boyfriend Cameron come out, not two seconds later. I push Ethans arms from around me softly and get up and out the pool. I know my face looks guilty as hell.
"What's going on? Why is Lorena screaming?" Cameron asks, looking at us both, and the guy in the pool questioningly.
"Nova...was fucking that hot guy." Lorena grins at Cameron and Callie gapes at me.
"I was not!"
"She was not!"
Ethan and I scream in unison. But how am I supposed to plead my case if I'm standing here, wearing nothing but his shirt, and both of us have a pile of clothes on the floor outside the pool. I look guilty.
"Nova you sly dog." Lorena smirks and stumbles towards me, putting her hand on my shoulder.
