In a world affected by nuclear war a compromise was made. The war fought over economic meltdown ended in the invention of a chip to be implanted under the skin. The chip assigns you your job and partner. But every eighteen years a group of 20 kids from each of the ranks across the country is sent off on a bus. The destination unknown.
