In this new series, Princess Zelda struggles in her position of authority after losing her Sealing power entirely. Prejudice and unrest arises in Hyrule, as Link continues to protect the Princess through waves of emotion and enemies.

Though they were victorious in sealing the beast, the monstrous servants of the Calamity still linger, and the most of the kingdom was lost to time and taken over by the wild. Opting to forgo their titles and start a new life as regular travelers before starting to rebuild the kingdom, Link and Zelda begin their new life in the Era of the Wild, trying to discover why the monsters still exist. Until The Last Breath
A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon.
