Reina Williams was not the type to break under pressure.
She had experienced loss, pain, fear, and love.
She endured almost everything life had thrown at her.
She fought her way to be the person she is today.

In her life, she had some amazing people that wanted the best for her and cared for her more than she thought she deserved. At a young age, she experienced her first love, and later, the loss of that love.
She became broken but knew how to hide it behind a smile and a snarky attitude. She didn't want to have attention on her all the time, so she got better and better at hiding her true emotions.
But what if the events of the past were more than they seemed?
Why did the love of her life die and was there a chance that she could too, now that she was finding things out with every passing day?
Will she find love again in someone she didn't expect?
Or will she let it fall through the cracks and maintain a life of sadness?

Kayden Holmes hadn't been the closest person to the mysterious female, Reina Williams. In fact, he had pushed her away when they needed each other the most. That decision was one that he regretted greatly and tried to make amends by entering her life once again, but as a changed man.
But, just like the female he's trying to get close to, he had problems that go back to his past.
Will he let Reina in his own world of pain and let her be a part of his story? Or will he push her away and continue to be the same person as before?
