Peach Orchard Prophesy 💜

💜 Spoiler: This is an alternative history that asks the question: What if Feng Jiu got a chance to cultivate and eat her DH cake too? Follow Feng Jiu's journey at the school her grandmother graduated from, which is run by Lord of Numinous Treasures (AKA Lingbao) and Goddess Bao Gu. Dong Hua and Feng Jiu will flourish while the world around them is falling apart. There will be some mature themes in this story and scenes of war that may be bothersome to some in the latter chapters. The first act, The Bubble, comprises the calm before the storm The relationship of the couple will remain strong throughout this story, hence there will be less angst for our couple and more healthy communication.

The Peach Orchard Series consists of three interactive story based on Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms to find multiple avenues to a happily ever after for Dong Hua and his Jiu'er. The uniting themes of these stories are the prologue which details a catalyzing event of Bai Feng Jiu's which can go in three very different directions, some awesome goddesses that I have borrowed from the Chinese pantheon, and a some shady politics in the Nine Heavens.

I believe in a strong Feng Jiu whose qualities of fierce loyalty, fiery compassion, and lovable audacity happen to have garnered many admirers among ancient feminine divinity. I personally find Dong Hua in TMOPB to be nearly irredeemable, but I am going to take whatever qualities he does have: self-sacrifice, curiosity, intellect, mischievousness, and obvious love of our favorite fox and give him back some of that fighting spirit and actual heart he seems to have abandoned in his retirement.
