Two friends travel far from home to escape to their cozy cabin in the forest after August's mom locks her into her room after she tries to defend her friend, Elliot, after recently coming out to their parents. While walking to their small shed, they get distracted and discover an unseen part of the woods where eventually they find an extraterrestrial being. They're unsure what to do with it, but they teach it about many things and it learns from the two friends.
