Sonic and Shadow have a secret that not even their closest friends know. They were an experiment from the Ark. They were meant to be used for research purposes on hybrids, but they were deemed failures when one went missing and the other developed strange abilities. Things were going array with the project and an accident happened on the Ark, sending the ship plummeting in space trapped in an endless grave. Thankfully, due to the experiment's abilities they were able to adapt. Together, their learning to adapt to the world and act like normal-ish hedgehogs. However unapproving the busy world maybe. On the way, they pick up some friends who are becoming suspicious with recent events. While Sonic and Shadow are just trying to keep their secret alive.

Worse than Black Doom or anyone they fought before. Mephiles The Dark has return with new powers and sinister allies that could destroy what Sonic, and everyone been fighting for. Before they could start their search on Chaos Emeralds and fight Mephiles again, the Master Emerald glows up and spoke to them. He told them to find someone who would help them to defeat Mephiles and everything will be restored. Before they could ask, the Master Emerald glows up and teleporting the entire world of Sonic to another world. A mysterious yet magical world where mirrored their world but differently. That's where they meet new allies with special abilities and other creatures as the search for the Chaos Emeralds again who was got spread away. Will they find the person they are looking for and stop Mephiles from destroying everything? (This story is based on Sonic Prime and Sonic X Shadow Generations).
