Life sure is bland when you have everything given to you on a silver platter. Being the son of two overly doting parents who are also loaded, Tenko Ritchi wished for nothing more than to work hard for something and feel the rewarding satisfaction of hard work.

So when he was suddenly brought in front of an Apprentice Goddess, intending to send him into another world as the hero who will seal away the Demon King, his disappointment was immeasurable when he realized he was gonna be given an overpowered [Cheat Skill] to help him cruise by the whole journey. Declining the offer of the Cheat Ability, Tenko jumped into the new world without taking any sort of cheat with him.

However, the Apprentice Goddess who's gift he denied wasn't gonna just let him get away without a [Cheat Skill], mostly because if he didn't defeat the Demon King with a Cheat Skill she made, she would be the first Goddess in 2 million years to have failed the "Goddess Graduation Test", effectively making her a laughing stock.

Determined to force her cheats onto Tenko, she descends down to the New World, sending all sorts of trouble Tenko's way in order to trap him in a situation where he is forced to accept his [Cheat Skills] to survive. From starting stampedes to luring in high level monsters, watch hilarity ensue, as Tenko must rely on wits and will to survive, while his mischievious Goddess miserably fails time and time again to force her cheats onto him.

A Hero With/Out Time

149 parts Complete

"I'd kill him if it were the last thing I ever did. No matter who's in my way. The Hero or the Queen, I'd get rid of them, no matter how many times it takes." Up until now I had always thought I was normal, a little on the weirder side but at least normal enough. Then I died and well... I didn't. Dragged off by the Hero and her party to slay the Demon Lord I met my end to the Monster along the border forest only to wake up before it all began. I'm clearly not the Hero Lara with her dazzling smile. I'm not the captain of the Knights Ronalt. I'm not a Master Wizard or a Swordsman, that would be Ardent and Earnest. Nor am I the surprisingly violent priestess Marley. And though she was dragged along as well, I'm not the beautiful thief Taylor. No, my jobs outnumber theirs tenfold for I am... their cook, their driver, the baggage carrier, blacksmith, tailor, potions maker, bird tender and so on and so forth. In other words I was the extra taken from my small town home. No matter what though, no matter how many tries it takes, I will make it back home or die trying, literally.
