When the hat puts her in Gryffindor unlike anyone in her family before, Ember strongly befriends two rambunctious twins who would do anything to protect their new friend and prankster third. Though they eventually get drug into Harry Potter's wild challenge against Voldemort, this trio face their own life choices and their own trials among Voldemort's wrath.
