Bruce comes with an idea, Dick has been asking if he can reveal his identity to his team yet and knows the perfect opportunity; but knowing Dick he's gonna have some fun with it... Wanting to be a superhero and becoming one, are two completely different things. But becoming the opposite? That's way easier. And sometimes it's not on purpose. Fate didn't want me to be a hero. I was a fairly normal girl, growing up in Central City. A city where superheroes and super villains didn't exist... until the particle accelerator exploded. Many people were turned into these metahumans, me being one of them. Likely one of the only changed nine year olds at the time. My parents were both scientists for Star Labs, being two of the many others that died in the blast. Needing to get away, I decided to move to Gotham. A good city to hide in. Maybe it wasn't the best city to move to, but, in the end, I'm glad I did. In the crazy town, I was adopted by the two craziest people there. The Deranged Duo, Harley Quinn and Joker. "Rescued by villains, who knew?" I say. "Villains rescue fellow villains," Joker says. "Sounds funny coming from you," I scoff. "Aww, is that the way you should treat your saviors?" Joker teases. "I could've taken them," I scoff. "Why did you save me?" "We watched you take out the last group of thugs," Harley says. "We've been looking for a protégé, sorta like how Batsy has that sidekick, Robin, was it?" Joker grins. "We like you. You're funny." ... What do you do when you're a homeless kid on the streets of Gotham? Becoming a criminal is SO straight-forward, so how about something new? Dick Grayson and Wally West, or better known as Robin and Finch, are robbers with a seemingly random pattern and motive. But what happens when a Bat figures out it's not so random, and these teen-aged criminals are not as "bad" as they make themselves out to be? One Young Justice encounter later, and the pair fight for their lives; their lives as either criminals or what they can become. I don't own DC or any references made in this. I don't own the beautiful story cover so full rights to whoever owns what. Also, Birdflash. Don't like, don't read. My first story, so please don't hurt me. Also, cursing. When you're the youngest, you often have to work hard to prove yourself to others. Whether it's to friends, family, or strangers, you can never give up you're ground. This is what Robin, the Boy Wonder, deals with everyday. Both as a member of the Young Justice, and as a hero of Gotham. And when the Young Justice and his mentor, Batman, suddenly start treating him as a delicate object for an unknown reason, Robin gets paranoid. The Blind Bird [FINISHED]
Dick Grayson, Ward of batman, is what the young justice describe: strong and cunning. He may crack jokes and have a bad child hood, but he has always been strong. When a mission goes wrong, the team gets beat and Robin gets kidnapped by Deathstroke. When the team awakens by the justice league, no one knows what happens or who took their little bird. They searched for him for three years before they gave up on their search, accepting his death. In those three years, Death stroke had broken Robin. When Robin failed a mission... well let's just say he has a temper when it comes to failure. Robin finally escapes the torture of the experiments and uses his new found power to guide his way through to the mountain. Because of the constant serum input, he is blind. Finally reunited with his old team, the team finds how secretive and broken Robin looks now and what will happen if his old master wants him back? How far will Deathstroke go to get him back? Also can the team bring Dick back from his lowest point in life? Will they be able to fix him after the mental and emotional abuse from Deathstroke, or will he be broken and lost forever?
