Hecate, nicknamed Cate for short, is an awkward 15 year old girl living in the city of River in British Columbia, Canada. She feels out of place and seems to be unable to fit in at school or at home. As a Genetically Engineered child, Cate has failed to live up to the expectations of JoyMaker Ltd, as have many other GECs. Her parents who purchased her in attempt to bring back their first born who had died from cystic fibroses must debate what to do with her, especially after receiving notice that Hecate may not even be the product they had ordered and could have been switched at birth.

2215 is a Number at one of the Genetically Engineered Army Camps on Baffin Island, Canada. The purpose of the program is to create specialized soldiers to fight in World War 3. Each Number has been programmed for a specialized purpose. Despite her efforts, 2215 is unable to fulfill the purpose she was programed for. The scientists at the camp make an effort to alter her, from administering punishment to chemicals and are unsuccessful. Eventually they come to realize that she may not belong there to begin with. When 2215 learns that she is set for destruction, she must decide whether to run or fight back.

It's 2141. Clones have taken over as the dominant species. Using brain nanochips to surveil thoughts and actions, they have pushed traditional humans down to a status of low-class workers in a discriminatory dystopia. A nineteen-year-old aspiring mechanic and traditional human, Daphne, unwillingly leads a double life when Sigi, a rebel from the nightclub Amanita, hacks her nanochip and frees her from clone control. Since then, she becomes involved in a plot to dethrone the clones as the ruling elite. Daphne is caught between two pro-violence titans with twisted concepts of justice: Apollo, the Living God of clones, on one side and Agape, the rebels' leader, on the other. Daphne's ideals and pacifism are put to the test as she encounters good and evil on both sides. She abhors the rebels' blood-thirsty road to freedom, which only emulates the clones' violence during the Prevalence War. All in the name of justice. True peace, not rebels taking over and getting revenge, could end it all. But how? History and old mistakes will get repeated. Despite it all, some questions plague Daphne's mind: if true peace is possible, are criminals and tyrants worth listening to? Do they deserve peace? To be forgiven while uprooting the seeds of hatred so that history doesn't repeat itself? Daphne won't conform to the insurrectionary, perverse ideals of Agape and her allegedly justified acts of terrorism. But can she rise from a scared girl to an empowered game-changer? 🧬 🧬 ⚖ 🧬 🧬 A Sci-Fi story with a sprinkle of Romance and Mystery.
