And then Cassia was given to Severus Snape, who hated all things Potter.  Still loathing James and obsessed with Lily, raising Lily's daughter became the perfect fodder for his delusion that Lily had chosen him, that Cassia was their daughter.  And so, with Dumbledore keeping anyone from speaking up, Cassia Potter died, and Cassia Snape was born.  And for ten years, Cassia Snape lived at Hogwarts, befriending students and never questioning why the teachers who'd known her for her entire life still stumbled over her name. June Potter is about to start her second year at Hogwarts. All the young girl hopes is that I'd be uneventful. In Harry's and her's last few weeks at the Dursleys, Harry blows up Aunt Marge. They end up running away and find themselves on the Night Bus. That bus takes them to Diagon Alley, a place for witches and wizards and students that are needing to buy school supplies. There June meets a rather large stray dog, she befriends that kind dog, then leaves for the train back to school. On the train, June, James, Lizzie, and Megan sat in a compartment chatting as normal. After the friends exchange a few words the compartment door slides open the tiniest of bits. A boy with brown hair and shocking blue eyes asked if he and his sister could sit with them. June agrees and they enter the compartment. They introduced themselves as Justin and Thea, twins, and both Ravenclaws. June's hopes of an uneventful year die after the train ride leads to Dementors searching the train for an escaped murderous prisoner. Shortly after arriving at school, the students learn that the soul-sucking creatures from the train had been placed outside and around the school's perimeters in case the escapee tries to enter the school grounds. Soon June learns of her Defence Against the Dark Arts professor, Remus Lupin is a werewolf. And that he knew both her parents. Later the young girl learns that the friendly shaggy-haired dog is the escaped prisoner? And that he was Harry's godfather? All that's certain is that this school year will not be uneventful. No year at Hogwarts is, especially with famous Harry Potter there.

Remus didn't even tell her that he was still alive until she was almost fifteen. She missed the boy, though she had only really known him for a year before James and Lily were gone. Emily wanted Harry taken in to her care once she was of age, but Dumbledore would not allow it. He believed Harry was safe with the Dursley family. So, Emily left to Romania with Charlie, but not for the same reason as Charlie. While Emily lived in Romania with Charlie, she did not follow the same career path. Charlie worked with dragons, and Emily decided to be a babysitter for wizards and witches. The money was great, which made her wonder why Dumbledore believed she was incompetent of raising Harry. She wanted him to have the best, but she'd never be able to see him. When she does finally meet him once again, not everything is going to be all sunshine and rainbows...
