For Heather Osborne, life hit her too hard. She's only nineteen, living in a tiny apartment in New York City, she's on the verge of being broke, and receiving little pay for her job as a waitress. If her best friend Marisol didn't have her back all the time, then she'd probably be with the rest of the homeless people on the streets.
She's almost ready to give up, until she meets Emmett Brady.
He always comes in the diner when she's working and he always acts like he's happy to see her. At least that's what everyone else thinks. Everyone thinks he's into her. But Heather doesn't want to be sure. She's too afraid to be sure.
Little does she know that everyone is right.
