When Corliss was a small child, her father was lost to war, and her mother abandoned her, leaving the child at the door of Gaius's chambers. Within time, it became clear that Corliss had an extraordinary gift. She had the gift of healing with a mere touch.
King Uther would have her executed the moment the word "sorcery" was uttered from someone's lips. It was for this reason that Gaius forbade her from healing someone without the use of herbs, but after the arrival of a powerful young sorcerer, Merlin, she realized her gift could be used to save Camelot... and the man whose future the kingdom depended on.

I got the inspiration for this story from a similar oneshot on Fanfiction.net by Aeon The Dimensional Girl if the user wishes for me to take this one down I will, however I will point out that I expanded on the concept and definitely made it my own. Originally gonna be a one shot, but ended up being too long for a one shot. Merlin returns to Camelot after Arthur dies and gets banished by Gwen. He goes to sit by the lake of Avalon to wait for Arthur. Eventually Arthur returns. Merlin is not immortal in this version, however he is still extremely powerful. This is about their life together. Warnings: malexmale relationship, some language might be considered crude, mentions of m-preg. Mentions of thoughts of suicide.Complete

Starting at the beginning of Season 4, Lancelot and Merlin manage to close the rift without a sacrifice. With Arthur curious about magic, Merlin finds himself revealing his talents to the most trusted of the knights and to the prince. Together they decide that they will bring magic back to Camelot when Arthur becomes king. Also, a funny Merlin meme in every chapter. For no reason, just cause I liked them.
