Sydney and her sister Lexi were always close, both being turned at the same time, but that all changed when Lexi was killed by their best friend's brother. After that Sydney was never the same, depression soon caught up with her and finally she reached a breaking point and she let the pain consume her.
She flipped the switch to her humanity, breaking the promise that she made with her sister. The people around her knew they had to somehow turn it back on, whether if it was torture, killing someone she loved to make her feel a pinch of emotion, or bringing the original hybrid into her life. **** I do not own The Vampire Diaries/The Original's characters.
