Dean never truly know who he was. He doesn't like what he sees in the mirror when he looks at it. But the death of his father instead of his mother had a huge impact in his life, something he never understood. More like things. Like maybe the monsters in the corner of his eye, or the private room his mother always kept. Whatever it was, he didn't know. He felt like his life was wrapped inside a veil of mystery, and that was his view of things before the twist consumed him. Will Dean finally get what he wants, or what his mind is itching about, the knowledge that might kill him with just one word?

During a dangerous case with Sam and Dean something goes wrong and Castiel goes missing, this isn't like the other times Cas has disappeared, this is different, it's strange even for Cas. With Castiel gone Dean doesn't eat or sleep he just drinks and prays wondering if Cas can hear him. Day and night he checks the newspapers and police reports from every city, and county in the US for any sign of the trench coat angel. With no leads things become even more bleaker. Dean throws himself down a hole, and Sam is becoming increasingly worried about about Dean so he seeks out help from from another angel to see if they know anything about the whereabouts of Castiel. Castiel is lost he doesn't know where he is or who he is. He just goes where his feet take him. He never eats or sleeps but he doesn't he have to, he doesn't know why he doesn't eat and it doesn't bother him much cause it would just slow him down. He remembers nothing about Sam or Dean or even himself for that matter, but something is itching at the wall in the back of his head trying to break through, it wants to get out but can't. He gets fragments of things every so often but they are of pain and torture and a redhead he doesn't know the name of. Cas and Dean are seniors in high school and they've been best friends since they were five years old. They know everything about one another, or so Dean thought.
