I wrote this short story for my english class so it's a little raw. The assignment was to write a small story about nine/eleven with us being a part of the event. This is from my point of view and I wasn't really a part of 9/11 haha.   I got full marks for it so I'm hoping y'all like it ! :)     BACKGROUND ON 9/11:   9/11 happened on September 11th 2001 (hence "9/11"). The Al Qaeda terrorists hijacked three planes and flew them into the two World Trade Centers (commonly known as the "Twin Towers") and the Pentagon. The Al Qaedas also hijacked a fourth plane, but when the passengers found out what was happening they over ran the terrorists and decided to fly the plane into an open field in Shanksville Pennsylvania instead of letting the hijackers crash into their target; which is believed to have been the White House. In total 2998 people died that day, in Al Qaeda's attempt to "wake up American citizens".All Rights Reserved

I was really glad when I managed to get my katanas trough airport security too. I might have some time to practice. the weird sensation of someone following you snapped you back to reality. when you saw that no on was behind you calmed down and went back to planning how to not make the summer suck but for the rest of the day, you knew, someone was definitely following you.

Jayden asks as he rubs his fingers through his sharp blade. I say nothing and shrugged. They look at me and their anger increased. "Answer me. Why were you talking to Ava?" He repeats. "Don't know. Don't care." I say carelessly. What was wrong with me? They could literally take me out in a heartbeat, and no one would ever know. Jayden balls up his fists and makes a punching gesture. "You won't answer me? Fine. You're dead meat now, brother." He says and smiles as he runs toward me. I didn't have time to think and just ran really fast to home. Please let this nightmare be over with! I didn't have time to run home and they eventually caught up to me. They cornered me and Jayden slashes his blade on my cheek. I screamed in pain. I was already dumb enough to try to talk back to Twisters and was now dumb-founded to be cornered by them. "Stop!..." I finally muttered. They laughed and Jayden held me up by my shirt. "Do you seriously think I'll just let you go that easily?" He says and chuckles." *INSPIRED BY THE OUTSIDERS* Shout out to my math teacher because she wanted to be included! EDIT: I'll probably make a second book, but I'm not sure... :/
