Meika Takahashi is a Japanese-American orphan who was taught by an Okinawan karate master, Nariyoshi Miyagi.
Before Mr. Miyagi died in 2011, his dying wish was for Meika to find Daniel LaRusso, his former student, and guard him and his family against any harm that may come their way. Her plan to protect the LaRussos is threatened when the karate dojo that she never thought she'd ever see is ultimately re-opened for business.
While she struggles to save Miguel Diaz from being corrupted by the aggressive and extremely skilled fighting style taught at Cobra Kai, she also befriends Robby Keene. Meika's closeness with Daniel's only student and her complicated friendship with Cobra Kai's best student has disrupted the balance in her life.
As the rivalries and conflicts worsen, will Meika have trouble repairing the relationships in the lives of her new friends? Which side will she choose? And who will strike first?

the characters in this are from the tv show cobra Kai, but doesn't exactly follow the story line at some parts. Harper Flynn was new in the west valley, she was moving there to get away from her abusive mom and to be safe with her dad. She lived here when she was little and her father and Daniel LaRusso were best friends in there young adult years, leading Harper and sam to be friends, and learning karate when she lived there. When Harper moves back she doesn't like the lifestyle Sam has gaven herself and branches out to new people, Eli, Demetri and Miguel. Miguel who is also new. How will the LaRusso's feel when they find out Harper is a cobra Kai Inside and outside..
