When Octavia Whitlaw escaped a military lab at which she was trained to become a war weapon, she used her powers to escape and lead a normal life as a teenager. But when the man she escaped from found her, Martin, it brought her a vision of seeing others like her being tortured into killing innocent people as a form of training. Once seeing this, she decided to travel the country back to the lab to save them, accompanied by her no-so-much-friend, Oren Cooper. But, along the journey, Martin and his men followed her every move, trying to track her down and stop her.
