She was fighting a villian named Chloe Rine, who could make chemicals from her body. Ruby left the fight looking nasty, her eye was clawed at, turning from silver to blood red, and most of all, the last thing she felt was a very sharp prick inject her in the neck. What she wakes up to changes her life forever. Thinking she's a monster, she leaves, living by her wits.

Then, she eventually gets taken to Atlas to the Faunus mines and there, she meets a peculiar and brave yet curious "girl" who changes her life forever....
