Soon after, a mysterious stranger comes to town, covered in dirt and coal. He chooses the name Butch. Thousands of his people are trapped under the Earth's crust, and their lights have just gone out. Without the Egia, they'll die. While he hunts for Nadia, Butch stumbles upon an old friend who will do whatever it takes to cling to control.

Time is running out... and war cannot always be prevented. As several groups converge in their search for power, the fight for the Egia begins.
