Entries for Wattpad Short Story's contest "12 Days of Writing" ✨Winner 12 Days of Writing (day 6 - horror)✨ ✨Winner 12 Days of Writing (day 11 - action)✨ I started this at Christmas and the deadline was December 31 and I can say, without any doubt, that this has been the most words I have ever written within one week. Not all the stories are holiday themed You might notice that there are no names mentioned anywhere in the book. This is simply because I suck at thinking of names for book characters. Every prompt has its own genre (science fiction, horror, fantasy, etc.) and the stories are no longer than a 1000 words. Please note that this was the first time that I have written in some of these genres, so all I can say is that I did my best. Have fun reading!Concluida
The Marriage Contest
~~ Book 3 of The Marrying You Series. This can be read as a stand alone but I recommened you read the other two books too. ~~ Vanessa Brady is thirty and single. Her brother is happily married to an amazing woman and no one was more shocked by it than her but, while everyone around her seems to be moving on with life, she has remained where she has always been. When one Friday night turns into a sad pity party, Vanessa finds herself agreeing to something she would never before be caught dead doing but... desperate times call for desperate measures. The advertisement didn't promise any success of being chosen but, the prize was worth the gamble. The game was simple, agree to marry a complete stranger on live television and allow the world to watch your first year of marriage. If you succeed in lasting that long, the prize of one million dollars is yours to spend. On the day of her wedding, no one is more disappointed than her at her new husband Jonah. He is nothing like the men she goes for but she wants the prize. It all seems rather easy but Vanessa will soon learn that the first year is always the hardest and it's only made worse with a stranger. With cameras and the country watching their relationship, can Vanessa find a level of normal anywhere? What happens when her ex boyfriend and the father of her child suddenly reappears swearing to get her back?
