It's the anniversary of when Zuko got his scar. He runs off from the gaang to be alone, but Sokka comes after him asking what's wrong. Zuko tells Sokka about how he got his scar and Sokka thinks that after this he understands him a little better and realises he wants to protect the young man with his life and fucking murder Ozai.
