This is book 2 to the Underworld Series. This can be read as a stand alone, but will make slightly more sense if you read "Summoning Bones", book 1, first. There will be spoilers for book 1.

Aderyn, a lost goddess with no memory of her past, wakes in the caring hands of Hades' daughter, Melinoe. She trains as her personal soldier for a selfish and cruel war of Hades' creation.

Melinoe sets Aderyn on a mission to make Death fall in love with her to distract him from his personal vendetta, to kill Hades himself.

When things go awry and Aderyn begins to fall for Death, her memories steadily resurface and her lust for blood grows as she discoverers who she was before her memory was wiped.

Aderyn is stuck between Death and ghosts of the past and the Goddess of those ghosts, Melinoe. She must decide to keep herself as shy and timid or lose herself to the violence she was born from.

This book is marked mature for depictions of violence and erotic content. Enjoy.

Melinoë, the only child of Hades and Persephone, the rulers of the Underworld, is a few centuries shy of her two-thousandth birthday, yes she's never been in a relationship, had her first kiss or the other things that follow. When she's paired up as a bridesmaid with Marcus, the broken-hearted groomsman, she's drawn to their similarities. As their friendship grows and Marcus starts self-medicating his sadness, she's asked to spend more time with him and help him get back on track considering she's the only one that can seem to make him smile lately. Marcus Brown is a mortal, twin-brother to Julie Brown who is friends-with-benefits with Hermes, a greek god. He's also friends with Danika Evantin, formally Warren, a new goddess and soulmate of Apollo, who also happened to be his old Classics professor, Dr. Paul Evantin. Marcus has been in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend Molly for nearly a decade, but when she suddenly breaks up with him without an explanation and ghosts him, he's heartbroken and doesn't deal with the breakup well. With Danika and Apollo's wedding around the corner, Marcus and Melinoë are introduced as wedding-party partners. Will the growing friendship with the Goddess of Ghosts be the perfect distraction to help Marcus heal from the ghosts of his past, or will it only make things worse as new feelings start to form? Find out in Melinoë's Ghost, Book Three of the Immortal Love series!

This is book 1 to the Underworld series. Once a century, a necromancer, known as a Summoner, is enslaved by the wealthiest families and used to keep death at bay. But after centuries pass with no Summoner, the dead remain buried. With the death of his daughter, Lord Eldridge begins the search for the Summoner, and miraculously succeeds. In exchange for her freedom, she agrees to help bring his daughter back to life. Unfortunately, her cruel father and King of the Underworld has different plans. Stuck between the living and dead, the Summoner must embark on a journey to defy her father, keep her freedom, and who better to help her than her newfound soulmate? ------------------ "Naughty, with your new husband just outside the door," he said. Eirene nodded, and smiled at him, looking over his shoulder at the weapons rack several feet away. The guard leaned in to kiss her, and she let him. He immediately began to lick the seam of her lips, and peppering kisses around her lips. She could admit he knew what he was doing, but bile rose in her throat and she longed to push him away. Instead she pulled him closer, and wrapped a leg around his waist. He groaned and lifted her up, carrying her further away from his escape and weapons. She pushed away from him and smirked. She backed up further and pulled a knife off of the wall. It's silver blade imprinted with the royal crest. She approached him and dragged the point of the knife over his jaw and down his neck. His breath hitched and his heart hammered.
