Lena was streetwise.  She was feisty and tough, she had to be with the upbringing she had.  

The one thing Lena wanted was to be loved and Donovan was the man who done that.  Despite their age difference and Lena's naivety she never realised that Donovan had literally groomed her.  He had moulded her and it was only when if was too late that she realised it was toxic.   It wasn't a relationship at all it was all about pure power, sex and manipulation.

Lena's family stepped in and moved her out of the area to get her away from Donovan.  Lena moved in to the family flat on the Hope Field Estate.  The Hope Field was a shithole but it was better then where Lena came from. 

Lena enrolled in Year 13 at Marlsborough High School the students was nothing like Lena they was all prime and proper apart from one....JP Brooker he had the edge he was like her.  

Lena and JP have an understanding of each other they have a pure connection they are like two lost souls who finally meet their match they find what they have both been looking for.  They instantly hit it off and it is not before long that they are seeing each other.  Lena finally understands what it is like to be loved and cared for  until one fateful night when Donovan comes back on the scene and Lena makes the worst decision of her life.

Will things ever be the same again?  

Lena's cousins Dan and Zane have always been by her side  they have been nothing but loyal and loving to Lena but they was also concerned for Lena....they knew how heartbroken Lena was and there was nothing they could do it...it was all Lena's own doing.

Six years later and Lena and JP's path cross again.   Can they rekindle what they used to have? They had both matured and grown but who's past would creep up to ruin any chances they may have for happiness with so many twists and turns along the way will they ever get to live the life they both so desperately want?
