Frisk was ten years old when she set the monsters free, it took them two years to be fully accepted by humans.
Six years later, Frisk disappeared. Leaving a note saying she has a family job to finish.
This caug everyone off guard. They thought she didn't have a family, as Frisk never even mentioned having one let alone even have a last name.
Two years after her disappearance Sans was sent a text asking for him to meet them at the train station.
He thought nothing off it other then if it was something risky he could easily teleport..

Sans X Frisk (An Undertale FF)
After Ethan (Frisk's older brother) broke the barrier and set everyone free, they went on a huge trip around the world to spend more time together. Frisk had no time at all to talk to her friends and to top it all off she had lost her phone on the first plane ride. Her and Ethan decide it's a good idea to go back to where all of her friends live after over a year of traveling. Frisk was so excited to see her friends again. Especially Sans. Before she left they shared their first kiss and she said that they could work out a long distance relationship but it didn't work out since she had no way of talking to him.
