Gather round boys and girls the leaves are turning from green to gold to red to dead on the ground.
Along with the leaves falling to the ground so has the social stature of our very own 
Addie Rose. Once upon a time Twin Lakes High most popular girl, she didn't even make Homecoming Court this year. But her three Bff's did. 
Innocent Debbie Macon, face of The Heights, Lorna Mae Cross, most likely to be a CEO or in a pinup calendar, and Rita Calhoun Miss Plain Jane are this years Homecoming  princesses this year.
You can bet your last dollar our Miss Junior League is not going to take this slight lightly.  I'll be waiting to see the coronation of the queen and the claws come out tomorrow. 
In the meantime most of the Junior class will be stuck in silence before the big game while they reflect on why God loves them during their retreat to Twin Lakes Park.
