As I read the paper with the combination to my locker, someone grabs the paper, and moves me to the side of my locker. They open my locker without even looking at the paper.

They then turn to me, brushing their hand through their hair and say, "Now tell me, Ms. Rayna Marlow Castro, why haven't I seen you or heard from you for 73 days, 7 hours and 30 minutes?"

-

Rayna Castro is a senior at Lutherdale High, pursuing performing arts when she graduates. The only problem is she was in an accident and just woke up from a coma, and can only remember up to her eighth grade.

As she returns to her high school, she meets Mason, a person she was supposed to meet the day of the accident, Valeria, a person who absolutely hates her, and Derek, a college freshmen helping out with the school's theatre program.

Mason claims they have deep connections, Valeria claims Rayna ruined her life, and Derek claims that they are good friends to one another.

Will Rayna be able to remember who they are to her?

Will she be able to make her way though her senior year with only eighth grade knowledge?

Will a relationship bloom with one of them?

"I wanted to talk to you," he said simply. "We had an argument about why he doesn't want us talking." I was confused. "What are his reasons anyway? It seems kinda stupid to keep us from talking." "Agreed," Nathaniel said. "The first reason was that I like you... a lot. And two, he said that it was the fact you like me and that he didn't want your heart to get broken." I was so happy that it was dark outside. "Aren't you with Veronica?" He sighed. "She broke up with me when she saw us together behind the Math & Science building. Ronnie knew how I felt about you but she couldn't just accept the fact that I like you instead of her. To be honest, we never were really dating. She just said that we were." My cheeks burned. "You have a crush on me? The star basketball player of Merrytime High School has a fucking crush on me?!" I squealed. "Why didn't you tell me?" "Your brother. Every time I've tried to tell you, your brother wouldn't let me," he replied sourly. Then he smiled coyly. "But he isn't in the way now, is he?" And his rough hands cupped my face and put his lips on mine. We went slow at first but we soon picked up the pace. My hands were up in his hair as he placed me onto the ground. But then for one pain inducing second, we stopped and he pulled away. His face was only inches from mine. "Are you sure you want to do this?" he asked busily as he put his hands in my sweater, his hands sending vibrations through my entire body. I wanted him. "Yes," was all I said before we locked lips once more. I was secretly hoping nothing could separate us again. BEST RANKING--> 112 IN #brothersbestfriend
