The teary eyed woman thrashed and yanked her arm away from his grasp. He didn't want things to go back to the way they were, he wanted to be with her.. always. Without a second thought, he lowered himself onto his knees in front of her. The crowd fell hard into a deafening silence. Her vision was blurry with unshed tears but she knew what he had done. Despite her heartfelt attempts to get him to stand and saver his pride, he stayed, he knew that this was the only way to show her worth to him. He knew that if she left, he wouldn't be able to live on. He submitted to her, a human, in front of everyone. --- A story of a foreign, forbidden love between the changed and the unchanged.

    He was drowning in her. In her scent, in the way her body molded against his, in the way her breath came in ragged, broken gasps between kisses, in the way her lips felt-soft, warm, intoxicating. He'd been starving for something he didn't even know he craved until now. And now, he didn't think he could ever stop. His teeth grazed her lower lip before he sucked it between his own, and she whimpered, her hands sliding up to his shoulders, clutching at the wet fabric, pulling him even closer. His heart slammed against his ribs, hard and wild, a caged beast set loose. The rain kept falling, soaking through them, mixing with the heat that burned between them. This was dangerous. I don't know how to explain it but it felt as though my brain was tearing in two, like my head was cracking open. When the pain stopped, I found myself surrounded by wolves, the shifted pups.
