With FP Jones getting sent to prison for what seems to be unknown reasons, Charles Smith, whom has returned to his hometown in search for his family, volunteers to foster his son, Jughead Jones, when the opportunity is brought to him.
Whilst in town, Charles is determined to get justice for his unfortunate adolescence. In the process, he will come to learn about the history of his family, starting with his mother, Alice.
In the meantime, Alice Cooper is found in a complicated situation, seeming as FP getting locked up affected their relationship. Her son coming back to her after all these years was just the cherry on top.
