For many eras, the Fae, creatures who possessed a variety of elemental powers and were distinctive for their beauty and their unique wings, lived in peace with each other.
Legends told they were united under the Kingdom of Nebula and the Kingdom of Sol, otherwise known as the Kingdoms of the Skies, which was told to be found above the clouds. Their gateway between worlds was the Fae Garden, and it was also the place their elemental powers originated from. The only way to reach the Kingdoms of the Skies was to climb the Fae Stairway, which only the noblest of the Fae could see.
The darkest of the Fae, however, remained grounded to the earth. They longed to take the Kingdoms of the Skies for themselves, and managed to get a traitor to lead them to it. The Kingdoms fell, and the Fae were forced onto the earth, and soon legend became myth. Separated by their elements, believing that was the only way to survive, the Fae became enemies to each other.
War broke out when the Fae started crossing territories, stealing each other's treasures and assassinating their enemies. The war has lasted over a century, and hasn't been stopped. Some Fae long for peace, and others thirst for war.
Soon, a new generation of Fae were born. A select few of the generation that was told to bring peace, find the Kingdom of the Skies and unite the Fae once again. But shadows loom in, and a new threat hangs over the Fae's land....
