Here's a recent review for Tales of a Sinner. This bio is a wild, dangerous and erotic ride from the mean streets of Upper Manhattan in the 1970's and beyond. It is told with such clarity and passion that I felt like a voyeur who could almost feel the tension, wonder and self doubt as the writer descends into a pit of self inflicted hell. The description of Inwood Manhattan during this time period as a simmering cauldron of blood, sex, drugs and drink is right on. The author bares his soul in such a self deprecating and sensitive manner that I could not help but close a chapter hoping the next would find him in a better place. Sadly, it did not. From juvenile delinquency, alcoholism, drug abuse and an introduction to sex far to young his story reads like a modern, nearly pornographic Oliver twist. I ride along as he finds himself in crisis after crisis. I watch as he struggles to understand why his life has become so unbearable and how he can ever atone for the pain he has caused his family. Not all is gloom and doom however as the author balances his story with plenty of laughs describing his many brushes with the law and endless money making ploys. He writes of his numerous sexual encounters in an unabashed and steamy manner that is not for the prudish. His adventures across country keep the reader flipping the pages anticipating his next move. From his roadside encounters with with armed psychos to his numerous sexual escapades I never lost interest. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to a sequel. All Rights Reserved
