I look into the eyes of a dragon to find my own soul reflected.
"The mind and body of a human, the heart and soul of a dragon." That's what grandma always used to say to me.
Y/N is an 18 year old art living with her parents and only having one friend, she finds herself longing for a new adventure. Upon discovering something strange she finally finds herself in the home she truly belongs in.
Y/N does not have a set description, she is however you want her to be but her family does.
The writing in this fanfiction is by me although I do not own any of the characters or settings displayed in the "world of dragons" although Y/Ns town, family and friends are my own. I will be deviating from the original plot of how to train you dragon by a lot so please don't expect for many things from the original story to happen within this fanfiction. Please enjoy and thank you for reading!
The cover was made by me in PicsArt although the dragon on the cover is not my art and I do not take any credit for the drawing!
(Oh wow this description is very long and less than half of it is an actual description-)

The Other NightFury
A dragon shifter, who's grown bored of her everyday routines decides to leave her home and go out of her comfort zone. She finds an island with another dragon like her. But she isn't in the right situation to convey that issue. The only way is to show him; which she isn't ready for, but sometimes you get no choice. There's battles, secrets, and of course, action. But what happens when she encounters more drama than she asked for? What happens when the dragons get close, but something goes horribly wrong? I do not own HTTYD or these photos unless I say otherwise, enjoy!Zakończone

(NEEDS EDITING) The Wings of the Future (Httyd)
He was the Great Dragon Master. They were the unstoppable duo. But the future was never meant for them.... . . . Hiccup Haddock was supposed to die a thousand years ago-but instead, he woke up in the future. After a group of scientists find a strange black beast and man perfectly preserved in ice, Hiccup and Toothless find themselves alone and lost. Nothing seems the same anymore. The place they had found in their own world is history. Lost in a world that no longer remembers dragons, hunted by relentless scientists, and struggling to survive, the duo has no idea that their past isn't as far behind them as they think.... And as authorities tighten their grip and mysteries unravel, two outsiders, Lil and Mark, stumble upon the mystery and soon realize they've uncovered something much bigger than themselves.... Trying to survive in an unfamiliar world, with threats seemingly everywhere, will Hiccup and Toothless find a place in this new world? Or will they be forced down a path? Where allies and friends are hard to find, will Hiccup and Toothless continue on alone? . . . Set after "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World". An AU, where the dragons stayed and a battle over New Berk changes everything for Hiccup and the other riders. My version of a modern AU. (Sorta) I wanted to try it, but wanted the story to be the same as the original httyd stories. I wanted to keep true to the httyd universe, and keep all the characters the same. So I put a twist on my version and found a way to mix the two. Hope you enjoy! No, I do not own httyd. (Sorta wish I did... but I don't trust myself with the responsibility.) So no, I do not, and will not ever, own httyd. (Quality not entirely guaranteed, this book needs some edits.) (Book description changed 6-10-2025) (Book cover changed 8-7-2025)
How to Train Your Dragon „Dragon's Yoke" - Fanfic
Far in the North, on the island of Berk, dragons are still the enemy. There is no friendship - only survival. After one brutal raid, a few dragons are captured, and young warriors receive a new task: not to slay them... but to tame them. The experiment soon spirals out of control. Some believe in strength and chains, others in patience and understanding. Every mistake draws blood - not always the dragon's. This is the story of the first attempts to break and train wild dragons - a tale of fear, pride, and the fragile line between control and trust. The same world, the same atmosphere - but without miracles or easy bonds. Only the harsh northern reality and the sound of wings in the dark. This is an alternative history of Berk - the same world, but events unfold differently. There is no Hiccup, no Toothless, no miracle of friendship - only the first, harsh attempts to master wild dragons. Cold winds, firelight, and the struggle between fear and control. A How to Train Your Dragon fanfiction - reimagined through a darker, more realistic lens. This story is a non-profit fan work inspired by How to Train Your Dragon (DreamWorks Animation / Cressida Cowell). All original characters, settings, and concepts belong to their respective creators. I claim no ownership and receive no financial benefit from this work. This is a transformative reimagining written purely for creative purposes.
The Two Misfits (Hiccup x Reader)
How To Train Your Dragon belong to DreamWorks. Warning ⚠️ If you haven't watched Dreamworks Dragons 1, 2, and Gift of the Night Fury, spoiler. Kinda on two if you don't know of what happened to Hiccups mother. This will mostly follow the story line. No I'm not going to straight up make Astrid a jerk to the reader. No, because that is out of character for her. Also I will be putting in my own types of dragons. Only three. Marley(Wind) Cutters, Feather Wings, and Prodigious(tall) dragon. On the island of Dumais, a baby was sent across the sea as her homeland was engulfed by war. A woman, rather a mother, traveled with the baby girl. The two sailed across stormy seas before landing on an island called Berk. This island is were the baby grew and found herself with mixed feelings for the dragon beast and for a certain boy, rather the Chiefs son. Only things don't turn out the way she thought after that one night.Zakończone
Honey Eyes - Hiccup X Reader
Following a young woman (Y/n) who fled from her home village at a very young age, winding up on a remote island away from most civilization. Where she ends up meeting Hiccup. This story occurs after Hiccup became Chief and just before HTTYD3. Astrid and hiccup aren't dating in this AU but are good friends. I'm not a writer so please have mercy on me. I don't even know if I'll make it public. (This story was originally a dream of mine and I was a self insert mc) For a mature audience. This story will have bloody and violent scenes. ⚠️⚠️ This story is an alternate universe to HTTYD. I do NOT own the characters within this story, these characters belong to DreamWorks. All rights are reserved for them ⚠️⚠️ (At the moment all covers art made by DALLE 3 AI since I'm not ready to share my own art yet)
(hiccup x reader) After all this time, I still love you...
#1 hiccupxreader Warning: LEMON, also, following this story will put you in major FEELS! I didn't change Hiccup or Toothless's personally btw:) summary- You knew Hiccup since you were children. You were the next ruler in line for your Island and hiccup was next chief in line for Berk. You'd fly your dragon from your island to Berk and meet in secret with Hiccup everyday deep in the woods. You were best friends. You'd tell each other everything. Throughout your teenage years, you were an inseparable couple. Everything was magical, until one day when you were being forced to marry a selfish man who everyone thought had the power to end a war. You loved only Hiccup, a man who no body on your island knew, or would ever approve of. Your strict parents would never let you marry a Viking. So you disappeared into a new far away place with your dragon, and you were never seen again. Hiccup and (y/n), an unbreakable bond. What happens when you are reunited with Hiccup and he is the only person that you want? Is it possible to make everything go back to normal, after you abandoned everything you knew? Was the new world where you truly belong? Or is it in Hiccups arms? I guess we'll just have to wait and see... -rude language, brief sexual content, gore descriptions- (Hiccup and Astrid are not dating in this story, but the whole gang are very good friends) Also, most of the artwork in this book isn't mine, notify me if you have credit/ it's yours. Also be sure to vote and follow me for more:) #1 hiccupxreaderZakończone
The Tamer of Time: Httyd Hiccup x Fem!Reader
Tales of a woman who has tamed and trained an ancient dragon have spread throughout the archipelago. She is thought to reside on the western coast in the village of Sadur. Hiccup and his crew are skeptical, knowing that vikings tend to exaggerate and whatnot. But one day, Hiccup and Toothless come across a new visitor at Raven's Point with an injured dragon. Is she....the one they've truly heard about? Read about (Y/N) and Hiccup, and how their encounter will affect the rest of their lives.Zakończone
The Last Night Fury (A HTTYD Future AU)
'Despite the fear in her taking over as she stares down at this creature, she can't help but feel a sense of wonder, looking at a dragon she and the rest of Berk believed to have been extinct.' Hilda lives in a world of Vikings and Dragons in the Isle of Berk, where everyone has a dragon of their own. All expect Hilda. The one dragon she wanted to train were all gone - the Night Fury. But a wander in the forest will change everything. While this story contains many of OC characters, the world of How to train your dragon doesn't belong to me. That honour belongs to DreamWorks. In addition, this story contains the soundtrack from How to train your dragon 1 & 2, which I also don't own.Zakończone
