A heroine. A villainess. What is the point? I just want to live my life, why must I be subjected to pain and torture to get happy ending, or why must I be exiled for pursuing a happy ending? Is there a way to avoid both endings? Ah it seems like the villainess agrees with me.

Anything short of perfection wouldn't even get the player a glimpse of a happy ending for the Capture Target the player chose. Never in my life did I ever think I'd be reincarnated. As far as I'm aware, being able to reincarnate means being good in your previous life, and being given a chance to restart your life anew. Although I don't consider myself particularly good, I'm not bad either. I simply existed somewhere in between. Regardless, I never expected to wake up inside a fantasy novel! And not just any novel, but a "dark romance", as my sister would call it. The kind with an obsessive male lead willing to go to any lengths to protect his delicate, soft-spoken heroine. Even if it meant murder. I had read the story before, and yes, it was undeniably cliché.
