Hugo Agreste, the son of the King and Queen, is the heir to the throne. Except, a mysterious old man comes to the palace, and requests all for all the crowned jewels, known as miraculous, to be returned to him before danger strikes.
Hugo denies it, and one of the crowned jewels gets into the wrong hands. This is happening during his Selection, and he realizes the girl he is in love with is a girl named Angela Cunningham, who is trapped in an abusive relationship.
She is not part of The Selection, but he feels he wants her to be his future wife. The palace is going to be torn down, both of his parents, Marinette and Adrien, are sick and unwell, and are planning to get murdered. Their other children are fighting their own battles, while Hugo has to face the facts of becoming King much earlier than he is expected to.
DISCLAIMER! The art on the cover does not belong to me, and neither does the miraculouses and Adrien and Marinette, who are from the show. Angela and some other characters belong to me, and this is my own original idea.

When a supervillain named Hawk Moth arises to wreak havoc, the two teenagers find themselves gifted the power to become superheroes Ladybug and Chat Noir via rings called Miraculous. Unbeknownst to Félix (Chat Noir) and Bridgette (Ladybug), they know each other in their civilian life. The goal of defeating Hawk Moth and taking back the Miraculous he wields is bound to take over their entire lives. This Season will be 20 Chapters Long, plus a Prologue.
